About the role

The client operates across commercial, residential, coastal, central, and local government sectors in Whangarei and throughout the North Island. About the qualifications and experience required:

Tertiary qualified in engineering e.g. bachelor’s degree or diploma
Between 5-7 years of relevant experience in New Zealand, Northland experience would be advantageous.
Software user in RocScience suite, Cliq, CPet-IT, Settle 3.
At least a restricted and clean NZ driver’s license.
Residential development, commercial projects and construction monitoring
Technically sound in foundation, retaining wall, ground improvement assessment and design
Planning and undertaking detailed site investigations
Short term goal of working towards CPEng accreditation

A clear communication style
Interpersonal skills for effective client relationships
Organised to manage project milestones from inception to handover
Able to mentor junior engineers with their technical development
Able to work efficiently and productively
