Experienced Spray painter

The Opportunity:

We are currently seeking several experienced  trades-persons for light to heavy industrial transport type painting for our industrial coating division Abrasive Blasting & Industrial Coating Specialists (see www.abicoating.com.au). We are the largest Industrial Coatings Contracting business in Southeast Queensland specializing in heavy automotive, large mobile equipment, Defence force and aerospace sectors.

The Role:

We are looking for experienced finishing painters with polyurethane 2 pac experience, to work at our clean, modern, well equipped  Industrial Coatings workshop located in the lifestyle friendly Gold Coast region. 

About You:

• You must have at least 5 years experience in Automotive or industrial coatings.
• Trade certification would be an advantage
• You must be experienced in painting using a pressure pot. We will train the right person to work with new challenging painting techniques in a safe and well supported environment.
• Defence coating experience would be an advantage.
• We are looking for long term employees with a positive and practical can do attitude.
• All applicants must have relevant Australian experience and have the right to work in Australia.

The position is full-time 40 hours per week (after initial trial and probation period)– typically Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm. Some Saturday morning work maybe required occasionally, but we like to maintain a good work life balance.

Very good pay rates offered inline with skills.
