Construction Lead — Waikato Water Supply Programme Alliance

Our Client — as part of a Programme Alliance with Watercare Services Ltd — Auckland / Waikato, New Zealand

Leads construction delivery of the Waikato A Water Treatment Plant, Pukekohe West reservoir, pump stations, sand separators and pipeline network (including the Manukau Harbour crossing), with accountability for safety, quality, programme and cost of works on the ground.

What you’ll be doing:

•      Develop and lead execution of the construction methodology, sequencing and staging across all work fronts

•      Own health, safety and wellbeing leadership across the construction workforce and subcontractors

•      Lead subcontractor and supply-chain management, including tendering, engagement and performance management of trade packages

•      Own site-based quality assurance and non-conformance management

What you’ll bring:

•      Senior construction management experience delivering major water/civil infrastructure (NZ$50M+ projects), ideally including treatment plant or reservoir construction

•      Major pipeline, trunk main or marine/harbour-crossing construction experience highly regarded

•      Demonstrated health & safety leadership record on complex, multi-front construction programmes
